It's OK to be selfish!
I just finished a fantastic week of traveling to three cities for three different clients. It was a great reminder for me of the value of taking time to recharge. Instead of feeling burnt out and exhausted I feel GREAT!

And as I flew home last night I was reflecting about what made this week so successful and what am I doing differently now that I wasn’t doing 10 years ago. And the conclusion I came to was that I was more selfish!
I don’t think I’m more selfish in a bad way, but I definitely take more time for myself and make sure I fit in fitness, reading for work and for fun, and down time. And it works! I have more energy, feel better about my work and have more to give to others.
I’m so excited about this idea that I’ve written a little article about it.
